About Us

The Kennedy Group is a privately-held business established in 1974 by Bert Kennedy.  The company is headquartered in Willoughby, Ohio located east of Cleveland.   The products and services we offer are valued in diverse industries and market applications including consumer packaged products, media and promotions, automotive, material handling, biomedical, healthcare, and chemicals.  

The Label and Packaging Products Division represent the core business of pressure sensitive and roll-fed/ROSO films labeling and packaging products, serving the food, beverage, household chemical, health and beauty, automotive, and industrial markets. The Material Handling Identification Systems Division produces the flagship Placards and Nameplate products, as well as identification solutions and label holders applied to reusable containers, racks and pallet storage areas.  The RFID Solutions Division offers end-to-end RFID deployment, from proof-of-concept testing, to software, hardware, and integration services, including supplying the RFID tags and application equipment.  The Promotional Response Products Division is a leader in front-page advertising solutions, offering newspapers and advertisers a wide assortment of colorful, stick-on notes, booklets, magnets and cards that function as removable advertisements. Our TKG Media Network coordinates and streamlines front page advertising programs for major advertisers providing access to more than 450 newspapers nationwide with a daily circulation of over 35 million. 

Since 2010, The Kennedy Group has acquired Florida Marking Products in Orlando, FL and Label Techniques Southeast in Pensacola , FL.  The additional production facilities expand our footprint in the Southeast, a thriving region targeted for additional growth and expansion.  These facilities enhance the ability to serve Southeast customers with quicker lead times and expanded product offerings.  Additional sales offices in Atlanta, GA, Orlando, FL, Pensacola, FL and Daytona, FL connect a network of sales professionals supporting a diversity of initiatives in the marketplace.  The Kennedy Group's four production facilities and 150 associates serve 3,000 customers from 40 states and seven countries representing a wide range of industries.

Dedication and commitment to lean manufacturing and CGMP is the foundation of our enterprise operational excellence.  Project successes are built upon an extensive trial and qualification process.  Applying best practices in work flows and procedures contributed to obtaining AIB certification undertaking facility and process audits. 

The Kennedy Group leverages a state of the art pre-press department, R&D labs, a total of 29 production lines comprised of unique assets including digital UV technology and finishing equipment configured with the latest controls and sophisticated functionalities.  Combined with superior supplier alliances, these resources streamline project implementation and ensure successful outcomes as part of our goal to assure reliability and meet customer needs.
